Municipal Training

MTAS offers a comprehensive program addressing the training needs of elected and appointed municipal officials. MTAS strives to offer quality-training programs in sites as close to each city hall as possible.

The program content includes topics such as leadership, strategic planning, management skills, performance measurement, and technical courses related to municipal functions. MTAS consultants provide the instruction for all technical courses in the areas of finance, public works, law, personnel, police, and fire. Consultants for MTAS and contract instructors deliver all of the leadership, supervisory, and management courses.
