MTAS Celebrates 60 Years of Serving Cities... Past, Present and Future
It is always amazing as we begin a new year to realize how much time has passed and yet how much has happened in just a year. In 2008 there were numerous challenges and rewards and as 2009 stretches before us, it is important to recognize that the Municipal Technical Advisory Service (MTAS) has been partnering with Tennessee cities and our related agencies for 60 years, beginning in April 1949.
From the insightful and progressive thinking that created MTAS, we have grown to provide technical assistance in all areas of municipal services. As we strive to provide the best services possible to our cities, we appreciate your continued support and encouragement. We will be celebrating the accomplishments of the past 60 years, continuing our best in providing services, and planning for future opportunities throughout 2009. Be sure to watch our website for announcements and your opportunity to contribute anecdotes and memories to our celebration.
It has been a pleasure working with each and all of our partners this past year as we strive to provide the best service to our cities. Thank you for your feedback, participation, and support.
